For our planet...
We have a number of carbon reduction and resource efficiency measures in our offices including 100% renewable electricity usage, waste is zero to landfill and 52% recycled and our cycle to work scheme encourages green commuting. We have also developed a Group Sustainable Procurement Policy which captures carbon reduction initiatives that we have introduced in our sourcing and disposal of capital goods as well as our business travel.
We have implemented our Climate Strategy which captures our Scope 1 and 2 reduction targets as well as our engagement targets which aim to assess and increase both our portfolio and our key supplier’s alignment to Net Zero. We are also committed to offsetting 100% of our Scope 1 and 2 emissions and select Scope 3 emissions which we have done this year through an accredited peatland restoration project and a UK tree planting scheme certified by the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS).
